Every year, old favourites from the past year’s programme are added to the Reel Asian archive for the public to revisit. Until Tomorrow is a campaign that connects with our audience beyond the festival season by sharing filmmakers’ stories through free, virtual offerings.

The campaign is based around VHS aesthetics and autostereograms to evoke nostalgia in the viewer, as if Reel Asian’s archive were their own personal tapes rediscovered upon opening a capsule from the past. These compilations intend to showcase the work of filmmakers through a unified campaign visual identity while also maintaining the creative integrity of the artists’ work.

Promotion Results

The campaign was promoted through a series of Instagram posts/reels, postcards distributed at in-person events, and a pre-screen/pre-roll show prior to screenings. The reels received a total of over 20,000 views and increased the number of webpage visits from 0 to over 1,000 during the 1 month promotional period.
