Unique and engaging results can take form by creating space between different binaries, such as the traditional vs digital form. In this way, there are always opportunities for innovation, experimentation, and exploration, and this flexibility of graphic design is what excites me.

At LetsStopAIDS’  annual youth summit, NoTimeToWait, videos were used as engagement tools to quickly capture the attention of the audience through sound and visuals to transition to the next session. These motion graphics not only helped to provide context to the upcoming panel or workshop, but it also helped create seamless transitions throughout the programming.  

As a motion designer, this was my first time receiving another designer’s storyboards and assets to translate into videos. This was a new challenge, as I’ve typically been involved in the conceptualization/storyboarding process with consideration to my own skill range. As a result, I have to develop new skills to rise to the expectations and vision I was provided with to ensure it was accurately presented.
