I created a high-impact preview of the programme offerings by selecting key scenes and audio bites that aligned with the tone of the festival. By identifying shared subject matter, themes, and colour palettes across all 56 films, I strictured a cohesive video that used match cuts, sound, and effective pacing to form a unified emotional response among viewers.

Animation Assets

For Reel Asian‘s 29th year, Janet Mac animated Muse as part of the annual festival branding. For visual consistency across promotional media, assets were extracted from the animation and seamlessly integrated throughout the festival trailer. In consideration to the filmmakers’ artistic integrity, this was done in a way to make a clear distinction between the assets and the films themselves.



Content Distribution




In addition to promotions on social media and at in-person screenings, the trailer was also displayed at Sankofa Square in the months leading up to the festival.
